A Knock Em Dead technician recently completed a perimeter pest control treatment at a residential property in Corinth, TX. Working along the front foundation beds and shrub lines, the team applied a targeted treatment to push pests back before they had a chance to get inside.
What the Job Involved
The technician used a backpack sprayer to apply a liquid treatment along the home’s brick foundation, directly into the dense shrub beds that line the front walkway. These areas are exactly where insects like ants, spiders, roaches, and other common pests tend to hide, nest, and eventually find their way indoors.
Here is a quick breakdown of what was covered during this visit:
- Foundation perimeter treatment along the front of the home
- Shrub and landscape bed application targeting harborage areas where pests breed and shelter
- Walkway and entry point focus to cut off common pest pathways into the house
- Protective gloves and proper equipment used throughout for a safe, responsible application
Why This Type of Treatment Matters
Brick homes with mature landscaping close to the foundation are especially common across North Texas neighborhoods, and they create ideal conditions for pest activity. Thick shrubs hold moisture, block sunlight, and give insects a sheltered spot to establish colonies just inches from your front door.
A perimeter treatment like this one does not just eliminate active pests. It lays down a barrier that keeps new ones from moving in. For homeowners in Corinth and the surrounding area, staying ahead of seasonal pest pressure is much easier and more affordable than reacting to a full-blown infestation.
If you are dealing with recurring ant trails, spiders around entry points, or roaches showing up inside, the source is often right outside in those landscape beds. Treating the exterior first is the most effective way to protect the interior.
